Frigidaire washer-dryer 'laundry centers' recalled due to fire risk

Electrolux Group are recalling their Frigidaire brand Gas Laundry Centers due to a seal malfunction that can cause lint buildup and elevated fire risk, according to the consumer product safety commission.

According to the recall, the front rubber seal can fold inward, allowing lint to build up in the unit and increasing fire risk.

The manufacturer says that model FFLG4033QWX, serial numbers 4E44114739 through 4E81603034 and model FFLG4033QTX, serial numbers 4E44308482 through 4E81603380 are affected, though the washer portion of the unit can still be used without risk.

Anyone with an effected unit can contact Electrolux Group for a free cleaning, repair, and service which should alleviate the issue.
