Sheetz lowering diesel prices by 35 cents for Truck Driver Appreciation Week

Those who rely on diesel fuel to get around will be seeing some relief beginning Labor Day, as Sheetz gas stations across the country will be lowering its diesel prices by 35 cents.

Diesel prices will be at a 35 cent discount beginning Monday, September 4 and the promotion will last until September 16. The promotion is a celebration of the 35th anniversary of Truck Driver Appreciation Week.

"Truck drivers positively impact the fabric of everyday American life. They are truly the backbone of this country and as a company, we are committed to showing our appreciation," said Sheetz President and CEO, Travis Sheetz.

The company is also showing its appreciation for truck drivers in numerous other ways including offering a Sheetz branded trucker hat at its 37 truck diesel locations to any new or current loyalty customers.

There will also be five different weekly deals all throughout September and going into October redeemable for truck drivers in the Sheetz app. These deals are as follows:

- September 1-7: 99 cent energy drink with any purchase

- September 8-14: Free half meatball or turkey sub with any purchase

- September 15-21: Mix and match any two 20 ounce sodas for $2 with any purchase

- September 22-30: Earn 500 bonus loyalty points with any purchase

- October 1-7: Purchase any two Powerades for $3

In addition Sheetz will be extending its ongoing deal on Unleaded 88 gasoline through Labor Day Weekend. From now until the end of the day on Labor Day, folks can get unleaded 88 gas for $2.99 per gallon.
