A Youngstown man who is already serving 58 years to life in prison for murder pleaded guilty in another case on Tuesday.

Lavontae Knight, 28, will serve 8 years concurrent with his other sentence for his role in the shooting death of 26-year-old Joshua Donatelli. He pleaded guilty to a charge of involuntary manslaughter.

In October of 2018, Donatelli was shot at his home on the 400 block of Imperial Street. Knight was accused of the murder alongside George Gutierrez. Gutierrez has since pleaded guilty to reduced charges.

Knight's previous sentence stems from a second murder, just a couple months after Donatelli's death. Knight was convicted of 11 charges including murder, robbery, and kidnapping for the shooting death of Trevice Harris in Youngstown in December of 2018.
