Hermitage 'Big Lots Home' renovation to open this fall

Big Lots Inc. is renovating its Hermitage location to expand their selection of home décor and furniture offerings. 

The new 'Big Lots Home' will open this October after a brief remodeling and transition period at the existing Big Lots store. 

'Big Lots Home' is a new format the company is testing, as a sort of 'retail laboratory.' The Hermitage location is one of ten existing stores to receive the refresh. 

Big Lots Home stores offers products for the entire home, organized by room with stylized vignettes. Many products will be exclusive to Big Lots Home and offered as limited-quantity special buys with items rotating monthly.

Instead of temporary sales and promotions, the stores focus on low prices every day. 

"Our new Hermitage store features a refreshed layout, design and presentation that will inspire area shoppers to tap into their own personal aesthetic" Les McCue, Big Lots New Philadelphia district manager said.

Big Lots is one of America's largest home discount retailers with more than 14,20 stores nationwide. 

The Hermitage Big Lots Home store will be open daily starting at 9 a.m.
