Sheetz to open new location in North Jackson

The business corridor along Bailey Road in Jackson Township is growing again... this time with a super-sized Sheetz location.
The new location at 1301 S. Bailey Road is set to open its doors in one week, officially opening its doors to the public at 8 a.m. on September 30.
However, a grand opening celebration will be just a few days later, beginning on October 2 at 9 am, with prizes to be awarded, including a Sheetz gift card valved at $2,500, according to a Sheetz media representative.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 10:45 am and guests will be offered free self-serve coffee or a soda that day.
Sheetz will donate $2,500 to the Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley food bank.
Customers attending the grand opening are asked to donate a non-perishable food item to the Food Bank. Anyone who donates will receive a Sheetz branded thermal bag, with a limit one per customer while supplies last, between 9 to 11 a.m.
Sheetz is also presenting a check for $2,500 to the Special Olympics of Ohio.
The location will include five lanes offering diesel fuel and 12 fuel terminals for other vehicles. The store will feature 59 free parking spaces also available for overnight parking to truckers.
Sheetz has more than 700 locations across Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and Maryland, with all locations open 24/7, 365 days a year.
