Cold and flu season is upon us, which means vaccinations are going to be in high demand.
To make getting them easier, the Columbiana County Health District is hosting a drive-thru vaccination clinic for both high and regular does flu vaccines as well as the newly released COVID-19 booster.
The clinic will be at the Columbiana County Vaccination Complex at the county fair grounds will take place between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 20.
The vaccinations will be for anyone 18 years or older and registration is required.
To reserve your vaccine, call (234) 564-7888. Registration will close at 4 p.m. Oct. 19.
According to a news release by the board, the COVID-19 vaccine supply recently transitioned to a more traditional healthcare model, but residents with medical insurance should not have any out-of-pocket costs for the vaccine.
There are also options for those without insurance. The health district recognizes most major insurance carriers.
Cash or check will also be accepted for self-paying individuals.
