Two injured in crash along 224 and South Avenue

Two people were injured in a traffic accident at one of Boardman's busiest intersections during Wednesday morning's rush hour.

Two cars were heavily damaged when they collided at South Avenue and Route 224 just before 7:30 a.m.

21 News saw one person in a neck brace and another on a stretcher. Troopers say they don't believe the injuries are life-threatening.

Northbound traffic on South Avenue was temporarily halted from turning west onto 224 while first responders were on the scene.
