Car crashes into pole in Niles

Police were called out early Tuesday after a car smashed into a utility pole on the Southside of Niles.

The driver told a dispatcher that the car was heavily damaged at around 6 a.m. after veering off South Cedar Avenue.

The driver wasn't seriously injured.  Police are still investigating.
