Cats, chickens perish in Warren Township fire

 The Trumbull County Fire Investigative Unit is looking for the cause of a garage fire in Warren Township where several chickens and cats perished.

Firefighters were dispatched to the 400 block of Burwell Road NW shortly before 11 p.m. Sunday where they found smoke and flames coming from a detached garage.

Neighboring fire departments were also called out. However, the fire was under control in about fifteen minutes.

No people were injured.
