A bus full of voting activists made a stop in the Mahoning Valley Thursday afternoon.

The Black Voters Matter Bus Tour visited MYCAP on Fifth Avenue in Youngstown, to encourage voters to make their voices heard during next Tuesday's election.

The group says they want to get the word out and advocate for the importance of voting on controversial issues on the November 7th ballot.

"These issues are at stake, and so we want to fight for reproductive justice. We want to talk about the legalization of marijuana as it effects our communities, and we just want people to come out and vote, because municipal elections, local elections are important elections as well," said Alethea Bonello, National Deputy Field Director of Black Voters Matter.

The bus will be in Ohio until November 4.
