The Champion Police Department is asking for help locating the suspect in an apparent hit and run that happened earlier this evening.
According to a post on their Facebook page, the received a call that someone was allegedly hit by a vehicle in the area of Sparkle and Dollar General on Mahoning Avenue.
The suspect left the scene and headed south on Mahoning.
The victim sustain minor injuries.
While it's unclear what type of vehicle the suspect was driving is, it's been described as a dark colored mid-sized SUV.
