Hundreds of people were ready to shop till they dropped this Black Friday at the Eastwood Mall. Crowds lined up before doors opened at 6 a.m. and stayed steady throughout the entire afternoon.

“There's been quite a few people here like I almost got ran off in the road. I got pushed into a wall a couple of times, I'm like ‘woah we gotta back up a little bit this is getting too crazy,’” Liam Mcbride, a Black Friday shopper said.

Some were getting gifts that everyone could use.

“I think blankets are always great if you’re not sure what someone likes, blankets, candles,” Sherry Vargo a Black Friday shopper, said.

While others were shopping for themselves.

“We were going to Footlocker, JD, Target, We’ve been getting clothes, matching outfits, shoes everything” Marcos Diaz, another shopper said.

The hottest gifts of this season were across the board with everyone looking for something different.

“Probably like makeup tools clothes. I’d say those are pretty big,” Lindsey Tessma, a shopper said.

“Probably puffer coats… I’d  say I see a lot of people getting those or wearing those,” Leah Seger, a shopper said.

Most were flocking to the bigger named stores for some of the best deals.

“I go to Buckle and they’ve got like 25% off of things,” Mcbride said.

“Bath and Body Works buy three get three free that's for anything. The candles, the body lotions everything,” Julia Lastic, a Black Friday shopper said. “Me and my mom just spent a rack there,”

All coming out to the mall to ditch the hassle of online shopping.

“If I’m forced to buy online I will buy online but I really hate too because you can’t trust online either,” Peg Kerrigan, a shopper said.

“I hate the return struggle with online. It's just too annoying if something doesn't fit,” Seger said.

Checking things off the gift list one at a time while they're at those low prices to kick off the holiday shopping season.

“I just love Black Friday, getting into the spirit,” Lastic said.
