State Troopers and other First Responders were called out into Wednesday morning's chilly temperatures after a semi-tractor trailer flipped over along Route 62 near White House Fruit Farm in Green Township.
The trailer, hauling steel coils, tipped over just after 6:30 a.m. at the parking lot of Pointview Cycle where Route 62, Western Reserve Road, and Lisbon Road meet.
A utility pole was snapped during the crash. Power was out in the immediate area. A crew from FirstEnergy was dispatched to the scene to make repairs.
The driver, who managed to climb out of the truck's cab unassisted, was taken to a hospital. 21 News is working to learn more about his injuries.
Crews on the scene say the truck is not on the road.
