Car crashes into former Animal Charity building in Youngstown

Police are looking for the driver of a car that crashed into a building that was once home to Animal Charity of Ohio.

The car ran into the now vacant single-story building at South Avenue and Sunset Drive late Wednesday, also snapping a utility pole.

When the police arrived, the driver had fled. 

The building at 3722 South Avenue housed Animal Charity until 2010 when the organization moved to another location on Market Street.
