Police investigate theft of tip jar from Howland restaurant

Police in Howland are hoping someone can identify a person wanted in connection with the theft of a tip jar from a local restaurant.

Investigators have posted security camera images on Facebook of a man they say walked out of the Main Moon Restaurant with a jar containing tips meant for employees.

Anyone who recognizes the man or has any other information about the crime is asked to call 330-856-5555 and ask to speak with a detective.

Police say tipsters can remain anonymous.
