Cirque du Soleil returning to Youngstown's Covelli Centre

The world-renowned Cirque du Soleil is returning to Youngstown with four performances at the Covelli Centre in June.

The 2024 North American tour features the high-energy acrobatic production OVO, depicts a new day in the life of insects as acrobats highlight the personalities and abilities of insect species, exploring biodiversity.

The performance has three new acts and new characters in a colorful show for people of all ages.

From crickets bouncing off trampolines to a spider contorting inside her web, OVO tickles the imagination.

Comprised of 100 people from 25 different countries, including 52 artists, OVO (“egg” in Portuguese) brings to the stage high-level acrobatic acts redefining the limits of the human body.

Since its opening in Montreal in 2009, OVO has performed for more than 7 million people in over 160 cities and close to 30 different countries.

OVO will perform in Youngstown at the Covelli Center from June 7 – 9th, 2024
