Kentucky man identified as victim in deadly crash on I-80 in Austintown

The Mahoning County Coroner has identified the victim of Tuesday's fatal crash along Interstate 80 in Austintown as a Burlington, Kentucky man.

Zackery Leffler, 25, died while driving a Dodge Ram pickup truck involved in the accident around 11 a.m. just west of Route 46.

The tractor-trailer, driven by 53-year-old Davit Fluidze, was traveling eastbound when it crossed through the center median and struck the pickup truck, which was traveling westbound.

The tractor-trailer then continued through the guardrail and down an embankment on the north side of Interstate 80. 

Leffler was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The crash is under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
