Lanes closed on I-680 Southbound and Northbound after shooting causes crash

Portions of the I-680 Southbound and North bound are closed after a shooting caused one car to crash into the median divider.

The incident happened at 6:03 p.m. near the Shirley Road exit ramp, the Youngstown Captain's Office says a car was shot at and crashed.

Police have blocked the road at South Avenue while they investigate the scene.

At this time, three people have been taken to the hospital but are in stable condition.

The captains office says the Ohio State Highway Patrol is expected to clean up the debris from the crash soon.
