Representative Mike Loychik is running for the Ohio Senate.

Loychik announced his candidacy for the 32nd State Senate District on Monday. He currently represents the 65th House District, covering Trumbull and Ashtabula Counties.

"As your State Representative, I have championed bills to protect the Second Amendment, provide transparency in our schools, and provide for economic growth," said Rep. Loychik.

He says he plans to "fight for an America first, Ohio first agenda."

The seat is currently filled by Senator Sandra O'Brien.

Loychik graduated from Champion High School before joining the U.S. Air Force. He lives in Bazetta with his family.
