Barn fire closes New Springfield roads

The Springfield Township Fire department is asking people to avoid Columbiana and Beard Road as they respond to a barn fire.

According to a post on the Springfield Township Fire and Rescue Facebook, no one has been injured and crews are working to put the fire out. 

Crews answered the call around 4:30 p.m. A tanker was called to the scene, but did not have to be used.

The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
