The Ohio Department of Commerce Division of Liquor Control is sharing online tools with Ohioans who plan to participate in Dry January.

It's a month-long initiative that encourages people to not drink alcohol for the first month of the new year for improved health in a variety of ways.

"As we raise a glass to the New Year, please raise one responsibly," Paul Kulwinski, the Division of Liquor Control's Director of Licensing said. "The Division is committed to promoting information to combat impaired driving, underage drinking, and overconsumption during Dry January and beyond."

The Division is working together with its partners at Ohio Liquor, and the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services. The partnership aims to provide Dry January specific resources to help people participating in Dry January.
