It was a job that took a little more than a year to complete but now that it's done, the word is out and already, space is limited.
"We have a lot of the long term leases full for the year, they're like year leases and the air BNB's are pretty consistently full," said Debbie Larson, Air BNB host.
The Gallagher in downtown Youngstown holds 40 apartments and 11 air BNB's but currently only five of those apartments remain available and only three air BNB's.
"When you rent any of our units, it comes with a parking spot, so that is a huge deal," said Larson. "It also comes with a washer and dryer in each unit, you have a kitchen with a microwave, a curated coffee machine, a full-sized refrigerator and you own bathroom," she said.
With a new year comes new additions to the building. Larson tells 21 News the Youngstown Varsity Club, a brand new restaurant, will be on the first floor.
"For all of the people who love cedars and loved coming down here for a restaurant, they'll be pleasantly surprised that we will have a restaurant with a courtyard," Larson said.
Rent begins at $895 for apartments and the air BNB's go for $110 to $159 a night.
