A group of children discovered a trash bag full of puppies on Youngstown's west side.
That's according to pound employees.
The bag was found on North Brockway Avenue-- with 7 puppies inside.
Two were dead-- but the other five were taken in, and are receiving treatment.
We're told the pups were all emaciated, dehydrated, and freezing-- with burns on their paw pads from standing in their own waste.
They are asking for donations to help with the puppies medical care-- you can find a link on the Mahoning County Dog Warden's Facebook page.
