Three brands issue recalls for more than 2M handheld clothing steamers

If you have a handheld steamer, you may want to double check, the brand and the model.

Three brands including Vornado, Sharper Image and Steamfast have recalled steamers due to the possibility that they can expel hot water from the steam nozzle while heating or during use.

Overall, this includes 2 million steamers in the United States and 13,000 in Canada.

So far, 122 reports of hot water spraying or spitting from the steam nozzle have been made and there have been 23 reports of burn injuries.

These products are sold in Walmart, Bed Bath & Beyond, Amazon and other stores nationwide.
