State Police seek suspect for robbing rural Mercer County business

State Police are looking for a man who robbed a business in rural Mercer County.

The State Police Criminal Investigation Unit and several other troopers say they saturated an area of s Salem Township late Monday morning following a reported robbery at E&S Supplies on Osborne Road in Salem Township,

The 52-year-old woman who was minding the store tells officers that a man wearing dark clothing and a pullover hat and mask came into the business with a gun at around 11:30 a.m.15

The woman said when the man tried to force her to leave with him, she managed to run away unharmed.

According to police, the suspect left in a dark gray sedan after clearing out the store's cash register.  Police say the car may have a roof rack.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5'5", 150 lbs.
