Hilltop Pizza Shop in Brookfield closed until further notice after fire

The Hilltop Pizza Shop in Brookfield is closed until further notice after a fire broke out at the restaurant.

The blaze broke out late Saturday night and the Brookfield Fire Department was there quickly to get the fire under control.

Hilltop Pizza Shop posted to its Facebook page thanking Brookfield Fire for getting there quickly and saving the building.

The Hilltop owners ended up donating the remaining produce they had to people in the community since it would've spoiled by the time they reopened.

The owners told 21 News that the fire began after a malfunction within the oven.

No one was hurt in the fire but the owners say they have a lot of work ahead of them.
