State Route 170 in New Middletown closing for pavement project

A road in New Middletown and Springfield Township is set to close for about seven months.

State Route 170 southbound between Calla Road and Middletown Road will close through mid-October 2024 on Monday, March 11.

The closure is due to a pavement reconstruction project by the Ohio Department of Transportation.

The detour is SR 617 to SR 165 to SR 626 to SR 7 to US 224 to SR 170.

ODOT expects the project to be completed in October 2025.
