Youngstown band The Vindys joining Pat Benatar on nationwide tour

Youngstown band The Vindys are gearing up to join 80s icon Pat Benatar and her husband, guitarist Neil Giraldo, as special guests on a nationwide tour.

The Vindys announced on their Facebook Page, saying "We are ALL FIRED UP to be out with Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo on their US tour this summer!"

The Youngstown natives will join Benatar and Giraldo for 16 shows between July 6 and August 16.

• July 16 - Rochester Hills, MI
• July 18 - Hershey, PA

• July 24 - Lewiston, NY
• July 27 - Indianapolis, IN
• July 30 - Denver, CO
• August 2 - Las Vegas, NV
• August 8 - Paso Robles, CA
• August 10 - San Jose, CA
• August 13 - Portland, OR
• August 16 - Airway Heights, WA

The Vindys have opened for several well-known rock bands, including ZZ Top and Donnie Iris and the Cruisers.
