Betras Kopp LLC announces plans for continued growth for 25th anniversary

2024 marks the 25th anniversary of Betras Kopp LLC, and Attorneys Dave Betras and Brian Kopp are celebrating by announcing a comprehensive plan to ensure the continued growth of their law firm.

Betras Kopp LLC was founded in 1999 when Betras, who began practicing law with his father and uncle after graduating Captital University Law School in 1985 and Kopp, who had just completed a Federal Clerkship with U.S. District Court Judge Peter Economus decided to open their own firm.

In addition to the Mahoning Valley, Kopp spearheaded the firm's expansions into Tampa and Sarasota Florida and growth of the firm's complex corporate litigation and sports law practice.

Betras and Kopp began implementing their comprehensive plan by adding attorneys Frank Cassese and James Melfi to the firm's roster. In a press release, Betras said these two attorneys bring "an incredible amount of energy" to the firm and are eager to learn and work tirelessly to secure justice for their clients.

Kopp added that the addition of Cassese and Melfi will enable the firm to "significantly expand" its professional and geographical reach and maintain its strong presence in its current markets.

Additionally, the plan includes a rebranding of the firm.

"We've changed the firm name to Betras-Kopp LLC Attorneys at Law and have adopted a new, clean, modern logo. ... We're producing new TV ads, revising and upgrading our digital platforms and content and taking all the steps necessary to inform our clients, the legal community and the public about our new brand," Betras said.

Betras says even with the new changes coming, he and Kopp will remain committed to the Mahoning Valley.
