Flashing traffic light snarls Route 224 traffic in Canfield

Drivers planning to use Route 224 in Canfield might want to leave a little early Friday morning.

According to dispatchers, a traffic light at 224 and Raccoon Road was flashing red in all directions as of 8:30 a.m.

Deputies reported that traffic was backed up to Fairgrounds Blvd.

FirstEnergy reported a power outage in the area and expected that electricity would be back on by 11 a.m.
