Car crashes into Youngstown police cruiser

A Youngstown police cruiser was involved in an accident early Sunday morning.

The crash happened around 3:00 AM at the intersection of South Avenue and East Lucius Avenue.

Police tell 21 News a person driving another car crashed into a Youngstown police cruiser.

One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

That section of the road was shut down while police investigate the accident.
