Columbiana County pizza challenge benefits cemetery chapel restoration

Pizza shops from across Columbiana vied for the title of Best Pizza during the county's Best Pizza Challenge. 

Pizzeria's from across the county headed to Columbiana High School Commons to put forth their best slice in hopes of winning Best Pizza in Columbiana. 

East Palestine was represented by Cozza's Pizza and Ianzone's, while Italo's and Mary's Pizza showed up to give Lisbon a stake in the competition. 

Bellaria, Foxx Pizza Den, Pizza Joe's at Tic Toc, and R' Pizza Place competed for Columbiana. 

The contest was hosted by the Historical Society of Columbiana and Fairfield Township and Columbiana Christian Ministerial Association, with all proceeds going towards "Fix the Sticks" which is the restoration of the 1890 stick style chapel project in the Columbiana Cemetery. 

R' Pizza Place in Columbiana took home the top prize as Judge's Favorite, while Pizza Joe's and Fox's Pizza Den followed in second and third place.
