An LGBT+ nightclub that has been a part of the Valley for nearly 20 years has closed its doors.
Utopia Video Nightclub, located on East Midlothian Boulevard in Youngstown announced via Facebook that it has closed its doors citing challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic as the reason for the closure.
"New chapters are turned, old chapters are closed and the memories that we all shared together will be cherished for decades to come by so many of our patrons," the post reads.
The post goes on to reveal that the owners of the nightclub have sold the business and the venue. It is unknown who the property was sold to at this time or what could be going in it.
"All good things must come to an end. Our story is over, but the story of other venues is either being restarted or continued onward," the post continues.
