Youngstown Summer Movie Series returns to Wean Park for 2024 season

More fun the whole family can enjoy is coming to downtown this summer.

The Youngstown Summer Movie Series is back at Wean Park for the 2024 season. From June through August, a collection of movies will be shown on the lawn at Wean Park.

The movies will run on Monday nights beginning at 9 p.m. If the movie is rained out on Monday, it will play the next day, Tuesday, at 9 p.m. 

Rayen Early College National Honor Society will provide concessions for purchase during the movie. 

Here is the lineup for this summer's movie schedule: 

• June 24th - Trolls Band Together (2023) (Season Opener)
• July 1st - Top Gun Maverick (2022)
• July 5th - Barbie (2023) (First Friday Movie at the Amphitheatre)
• July 15th - Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984)
• July 22nd - Shrek 2 (2004)
• July 29th - Jaws 2 (1978)
• Aug 5th -The Little Mermaid (2023) (Season Closer)
