A man charged in connection with Monday’s murder at a Warren Tavern is behind bars.

Twenty-six-year-old Zaa Von Hameed of Warren was booked into the Franklin County Corrections Center on Tuesday following his arrest near Columbus.

After learning that Hameed had fled to the Columbus, Ohio area, the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team arrested Hameed Monday night in Groveport, which is just southeast of Columbus.

Warren Police charged Hameed with the murder of 20-year-old Nathaniel Bradley of Warren, who was shot and killed early Monday following an argument at the Park Place 24 Tavern on Parkman Road.

Hameed is being held in Columbus until he can be returned to Warren to face a judge.

Bar owners met with city officials on Monday to discuss shutting the tavern down, stating that it is a known trouble spot in the area.
