If you live in the Newton Falls area, you might hear more noise than usual in the next few days.
Explosive and hand grenades will be used during training at Camp James A. Garfield Joint Military Training Center between Friday, June 14, and Tuesday, June 18.
Sounds from the explosions could be heard farther away than during normal training exercises.
There will be intermittent explosions and gunfire at the site during training season, which normally runs through September.
Camp James A. Garfield is an Ohio Army National Guard training site in Portage and Trumbull counties used for small arms, machine guns and explosives training.
