A Warren woman now faces a criminal charge after police say she made a U-turn in front of a motorcycle, seriously injuring the driver.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of 35-year-old Brittani Scott, who is charged with aggravated vehicular assault.

The charge is in addition to charges of DUI and reckless operation filed after a May 8 crash at Tod Avenue SW and Maple Street SW.

Police say Scott made a U-turn into the path of a Harley Davidson which ran into the side of her SUV, extensively damaging both vehicles.

Both drivers were hospitalized.   While Scott had minor injuries, the 37-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured.

Police suspect that Scott was under the influence of marijuana at the time of the crash.
