Low pressure possible for Youngstown water customers on Northside and Liberty

Homes and businesses in some Youngstown and Liberty Township neighborhoods may experience low water pressure when they turn on the tap or take a shower this week.

The Youngstown Water Department announced that crews will perform routine maintenance to the water tank on Colonial Drive in Liberty Township on Thursday, July 11, 2024.

The draining process of this tank will begin on Monday, July 8th. The refilling process will be completed by Friday, July 12^th, according to a news release from the city.

During this time, some customers on Youngstown’s North Side, and Liberty Township south of Interstate 80 may experience lower-than-normal water pressure:
