$50K Cash Explosion ticket sold at Circle K in Cortland

One lucky customer is the winner of a $50,000 ticket that was sold in Cortland.

It was sold at the Circle K on 238 S. High St., according to the Ohio Lottery.

Following mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 28 percent, the winner will take home $36,000.

The customer won the money from Cash Explosion, a $5 scratch-off game that has a top prize of $150,000.

As of July 22, there are four more top prizes left in the game, according to the Ohio Lottery.
