Columbiana County Fair gets underway: What you need to know

It's another sign of summer in the Valley, with the Columbiana County Fair getting underway this week.

The annual fair returns on Monday, July 29 with many free grandstand events, tractor pulls, farm shows, fair food, rides, games, and more.

Admission ranges from $6 to $10 including rides at the fair. 

Kids under five and military members in full uniform get in free.

Special days also offer free admission to bikers, senior citizens, and veterans.

Below you’ll find more detailed information about the fair, prices, events, and where to park once you get there:

GENERAL ADMISSION: (Prices include rides)

Monday *Preview Night* (Gates open at 3 pm- NO RIDES) $6.00 

Tuesday - Friday (Gates open at 8 am) $10.00

SPECIAL PROMOTIONS:

DAILY - All children under 5 years of age are admitted free.

DAILY - Servicemen and women presented in full uniform will be admitted free.

TUESDAY *ALL DAY* - Senior Citizens (Age 62 and older) and Veterans presenting proper ID will be admitted free of charge.

TUESDAY *Bike Night* - Free admission for the rider; passenger pays gate admission.

DAILY EVENT SCHEDULE:

PARKING

Public parking lots are located on the North side of Saltwell Road and accessed from SR 45.

There is a free shuttle wagon service that will pick you up in the parking lot and deliver you to your choice of gates. 

You can enter the fairgrounds by walking over the historic Bow String Bridge or you can choose to enter through the gate near the "Heart of Our Fair," located on the lower midway near the Junior Fair animal barns, show rings, and office.?

?Limited parking is also available as you enter Gate A off of Lee Ave., but this area is primarily used for handicapped parking and pass holders.

??Buyers will enter through Gate A off of Lee Ave. and park in the track infield.

?NO PUBLIC ACCESS is available on the West side of the fairgrounds near the Vista Gate, this is reserved for concession and exhibitor pass holders only.

?NO ACCESS is available at Gate B off of Lee Ave., this is an EXIT ONLY.
