The Freightyard, Trek Coffee House to host Honey & Lavender Festival August 24

The Freightyard along with Trek Coffee House will be hosting the Honey & Lavender Festival on Saturday, August 24.

The event will take place from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at The Freightyard, located at 1588 Mahoning Avenue in Youngstown and will have something for everyone from foodies to craft lovers.

Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy special drink and pastry options infused with honey and lavender. Additionally, the event will feature several vendors selling honey and lavender products, baked goods and soaps.

Children can participate in making butterfly-themed crafts, and the Columbiana-Mahoning County Bee Keepers Association will make an appearance to give a presentation highlighting the essential role pollinators play in our ecosystem.

There will also be an observation hive where guests can see the bees at work.
