St. Patrick Church Festival gets underway in Hubbard

The summer festival season comes to Hubbard as the 66th Annual St. Patrick Church Festival gets underway Thursday.

The festival begins on August 1 at 6:00 p.m. and will run through Sunday, August 4 at 11:00 p.m. with rides, food, games, an indoor basket auction, and daily live entertainment.

Additionally, there will be a raffle with a grand prize of a brand-new Chevy Trailblazer or $20,000. The second prize will be $1,000 and the third and fourth prizes will both be $500.

The drawing for the raffle will take place at the end of the festival on Sunday. Winners do not need to be present to claim their prize.

You can purchase one ticket for $5, five tickets for $20, 20 tickets for $50 or 50 tickets for $100. You can purchase raffle tickets online by clicking here.

There will be food at the festival including parish-made foods like haluski, stuffed cabbage, cavatelli meatballs, and steak hoagies.

Other options include sausage sandwiches, gyros, meatball sandwiches, French fries, fried dough, corn dogs, Avalon pizza, quarter-pound "Super Dogs" and much more.

A complete schedule of live entertainment is as follows:

- Thursday, August 1: 2nd Avenue Project (7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.)

- Friday, August 2: Hern Brothers Band (7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.)

- Saturday, August 3: Chris Higbee Band (8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.)

- Sunday, August 4: The Feral Cats (2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.)

- Sunday, August 4: RDNA (6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.)

The festival is free and open to the public on all four days.
