A Youngstown woman who authorities say ran over a man with her car has pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter.
Shanay Jacobs, 32, entered the plea Wednesday in front of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court Judge John Durkin who will pass sentence in the case next month.
A five-count indictment handed in December had charged Jacobs with murder, felonious assault, aggravated vehicular homicide, and domestic violence in connection with the death of 30-year-old Nathaniel Watson in October.
According to authorities, Watson was found underneath a Ford Fusion in the front yard of a home on the 200 block of S. Schenley Avenue on October 15.
The man was pulled out from under the vehicle and emergency personnel began to take life-saving measures, but Watson passed away.
