Boardman barbershop kicks off opening with school supply drive

A new barbershop has opened its doors in Boardman and is giving back to the community to celebrate.

Elite Image Barbershop, located at 993 Boardman Canfield Road in the Parkside Professional Center is now open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday and Monday.

To celebrate the opening of the new business, owner Frankie Serrano has partnered with local chef and food truck owner Tra'von Eley of Tra's Gourmet Sandwiches to host a back to school supply drive.

Serrano and Eley will be giving away school supplies for free while supplies last between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 12.

Elite Image offers a full range of haircuts for both children and adults. Serrano has been a professional barber since 2015, but this is the first barbershop he's operated under his own name.
