Youngstown City Schools to begin using new app for busing information

The Youngstown City School District has announced it will be using a new app to provide parents up-to-the-minute busing information for their children.

The app is called My Ride K-12, which is designed to provide up-to-date busing in real time. It is available to download for free in both the Google Play Store and the App Store.

Once you download the app, all you need to do is create an account, search for Youngstown City Schools and add a student using their last name and student ID number.

If you don't know your child's student ID number, you can find it on final forms, report cards or on ProgressBook.

Once you've added your child, you can find information on the location of your child's bus and receive notifications with any updates regarding the bus.

An instructional video on how to set up the app can be found here.
