Trial for two men accused in East Liverpool murder set for January 2025

The trial for two men accused of an East Liverpool murder back in 2021 has been set for early 2025.

According to court records, trial for 24-year-old Allen Tisdale and 34-year-old Elvin Tisdale has been set for January 14, 2025.

Both men are charged with aggravated murder and murder, both with firearm specifications. Elvin is also charged with one additional count of having weapons under disability.

The charges stem from the shooting death of 20-year-old Bryson Douglas back in July of 2021. Douglas was killed in front of a home on Pennsylvania Avenue. Police say the shooting happened when an argument broke out on a front porch.

Elvin was arrested in connection with the shooting back in January of 2023. Meanwhile, Allen was arrested in March of 2024.
