If you think you saw a large aircraft that looked like the one that carries the Vice President, you're not alone, and no, you did not imagine it.
One of our videographers spotted and captured photos and video of the large Air Force aircraft doing "touch-and-go" training maneuvers at the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport Wednesday afternoon.
Anthony Travena with the Western Reserve Port Authority (WRPA) who oversees the airport explained that touch-and-go training is not uncommon at the airport and happens around once a month.
Touch-and-go training consists of air force aircraft practicing landing at an airport by touching the ground and immediately taking to the skies once again.
The Public Affairs Office at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station told 21 News the plane was not carrying any dignitaries at the time.
The plane that carries the Vice President is only called Air Force 2 if the Vice President is on board.
It is unknown if this visit has any connection to Vice President Kamala Harris's upcoming visit to the Pittsburgh area this weekend.
