A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the fire at Warren's Ohio Inn.

Investigators with the Ohio Department of Commerce Division of State Fire Marshal have ruled the Ohio Inn fire as being caused by arson.

The fire broke out at the building on 1321 N Park Avenue on August 24 around 11:53 p.m. Fire crews found a wooden stairway leading to a second floor apartment on the south side of the building on fire.

Everyone inside the apartment made it out safely, but one person was hospitalized following the blaze.

The State Fire Marshal, Warren Fire Department and Warren Police Department continue to investigate.

The reward is being offered by the Blue Ribbon Arson Committee, which sponsors a reward fund for information leading to the arrest and conviction of arson case suspects.

If you have information, call the State Fire Marshal's tip line at 800-589-2728 or the Warren Police Department at 330-841-2512.

Callers can remain anonymous.
