Buhl Day 2024: What you need to know to go

The annual Buhl Day celebration has arrived, meaning several roads will be closed in Hermitage.

From 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., Monday, September 2, 2024, the following roads will be closed for the annual Buhl Day Parade and 5k run. 

The 5k run will start at 9:15 a.m. followed by the parade at 9:30 a.m.

The parade will start at the Hermitage Towne Plaza and travel west on East State Street in Hermitage to Buhl Boulevard in Sharon.  From there it will travel north into Buhl Park.

East State Street will be closed at Dutch Lane/Maple Drive to Buhl Boulevard.  Affected areas will include all side streets between these two points and all areas between Highland Road and the Shenango Valley Freeway.  There will be limited access to the Hermitage Towne Plaza.

Festivities will continue until 6 p.m. at Buhl Farm Park with food, all entertainment, axe-throwing, an art exhibit, a petting zoo, a car show, and the popular mermaid show.
