Nitro Circus bringing action sports spectacle to Youngstown's Covelli Centre this November

Action sports collective Nitro Circus is coming to the Covelli Centre this November.

The Nitro Circus tour will make a stop in Youngstown on November 26.

The event features top athletes in extreme sports including Ryan 'R Willy' Williams, a holder of more than 100 "World's Firsts" on both scooter and bike, who has more than 500 million views across social media platforms. Williams is joined by Adam Jones, a six-time X-Games medalist in Freestyle Motocross, and Andy Buckworth, the first BMX rider to land the Superman double front flip.

Nitro Circus was co-founded in 2003 by Travis Pastrana and has grown into a multiplatform company that creates live events, competitions and television programming.

The group became known for its television show which aired two seasons on MTV. A second show, Nitro Circus Live ran for four seasons between March 2012 and November 2014.

Tickets for the Youngstown event go on pre-sale Wednesday, September 11, online only at 10 a.m. with the password SKATE. Regular sales begin Friday, September 13, at 10 a.m.
